This makes the dough particularly light, fluffy and crispy.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Important tip:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>Always use cold beer\u2014 this is crucial. Cold beer is essential and results in a crispy, airy crust. It\u2019s the same technique used by many Japanese chefs, where beer is added chilled  to the batter to produce that lightness and crunch.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>Mix Fermento Mistral, flour, a pinch of baking soda, and a small pinch of salt. The beer should be poured directly from the fridge and added gradually until you get an ideal batter\u2014smooth, fragrant, and crispy. Dip vegetables\u2014zucchini, sweet peppers, mushrooms or onion rings\u2014and fry in hot oil until golden. Serve immediately with the soja-based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasteatlas.com\/tentsuyu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tempura-sauce Tentsuyu<\/a> or a spicy dip.
